Your Ouzoud Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakech begins with an early morning departure from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 am. From there, enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains as we head north toward the village of Tanaghmeilt, home to the magnificent Ouzoud Falls.
Along the way, you’ll pass vast fields of olive trees, and as we approach the falls, you’ll catch your first glimpse of the cascading waters from a distance—a truly spectacular sight!
Upon arrival, you’ll have the chance to explore the area on foot, with walking paths leading both up to the falls and down to the streams below. For those seeking a refreshing dip, the natural swimming pools at the base of the Ouzoud Cascade are perfect for a swim. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even join the locals and take a leap off the high cliffs into the water below!
After a delightful morning, enjoy free time to savor a traditional Moroccan lunch at one of the local cafes or restaurants nestled near the falls. Following lunch, you can make your way back to the top of the falls, where you might encounter playful families of monkeys, who are quite accustomed to visitors and may greet you in their own unique way!
As the day comes to an end, we’ll begin our journey back to Marrakech. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel or Riad in the afternoon, concluding your unforgettable day trip to the stunning Ouzoud Falls.
